Chalet Hotel-restaurant l’Étape a place steeped in local history.
Old alpine chalet, located at 1470m altitude, transformed into a restaurant in 1949, with the appearance of the first ski lifts.
Following the creation of the lake of the locality Tappes and the development of the resort of Les Contamines Montjoie the alpine chalet was renovated and the Chalet hotel-restaurant was born in 1999.
Located 1470m above sea level, the chalet Hôtel Restaurant Bar l’Étape welcomes you for a meal or a stay in the heart of the Contamines ski area. The stage is accessible by cable car (Montjoie/Gorge gondola) or snowshoes.
